How much does a quote cost?
Quotes are free. Some jobs need a site visit before final pricing can be confirmed.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Will Power NSW is fully qualified, licensed and insured. Will’s NSW electrical contractor licence number is 388041C.
What information should I send for a quote?
A short description of the work and your suburb are the best place to start. Will can request photos of the fittings or switchboard by text if helpful. Some jobs may still need a site inspection.
Do you handle smaller electrical jobs?
Yes. Will Power NSW handles repairs and replacements as well as new circuits, upgrades and larger installation work.

Will I know the cost before work starts?
Where the scope is clear, pricing is provided before work begins. If an unforeseen issue or additional work is found, it will be discussed before proceeding.
Can I supply my own lights or ceiling fan?
Yes, provided the product is suitable and compliant. Sending the model or product details beforehand helps confirm what will be required for installation.
Do you help with urgent electrical faults?
Will can assist with urgent electrical faults depending on availability. Call directly for the quickest response. If there is smoke, fire or immediate danger, keep clear and call emergency services.
Electrical faults and safety questions
Why does my safety switch keep tripping?
Repeated tripping can indicate a faulty appliance, damaged wiring or another electrical fault. If it continues, stop resetting the safety switch and arrange for a licensed electrician to investigate.
When should a switchboard be upgraded?
Warning signs can include old ceramic fuses, missing safety switches, buzzing, overheating, frequent tripping or insufficient capacity for modern appliances. A licensed electrician can inspect the switchboard and advise whether an upgrade is needed.
How often should safety switches be tested?
Safety switches should be tested twice a year using the test button. If the power does not switch off, contact a licensed electrician as soon as possible.
What electrical warning signs should not be ignored?
Hot or discoloured power points, burning smells, buzzing, sparks and persistent flickering should be investigated promptly. Stop using the affected fitting and contact a licensed electrician.
