A fan that suits your room

Whether you are replacing an older fan or adding one to a new location, Will checks the ceiling support, available wiring and the manufacturer’s installation requirements. You deal directly with the electrician completing the work.

  • Replacement of existing ceiling fans
  • New ceiling fan locations, subject to wiring and ceiling access
  • Installation of customer-supplied fans
  • Fans with integrated lights and remote controls
  • Electrical testing and a walk-through of the controls

Can a fan replace an existing light?

Often it can, but a light fitting’s mounting may not provide the support a fan needs. Will checks the mounting and wiring, including whether the chosen fan uses a remote control or needs a wall control. A fan with an integrated light can retain lighting in the same position.

Can I supply my own fan?

Yes. Send the brand and model if you have chosen one. If you are still deciding, tell Will the room and what you want from the fan, such as a light or remote control. The fan needs to suit the room, ceiling height and any outdoor exposure.

What does installation cost?

Quotes are free. The installation price depends on the number of fans, whether they replace existing fans or use new locations, ceiling access and any wiring or mounting work needed. Will explains the scope before you proceed.
