New lights and power points

Will Power NSW handles small replacements and larger lighting or power upgrades in homes and businesses. The right approach depends on the existing wiring, access and the fitting you choose.

  • Downlights, pendant lights and feature lighting
  • New and replacement power points and switches
  • Outdoor and security lighting
  • Ceiling fan installation and suitable appliance connections
  • Dedicated circuits where the load or installation calls for one

Pendant and feature light installation

From replacing a single pendant to fitting lights above a kitchen bench, the position, mounting and control arrangement all matter. Send the fitting’s model and a photo of the proposed location. Will can discuss the installation before you commit to a purchase.

LED downlight replacement

Replacing older downlights can involve more than swapping the visible fitting. Will checks the existing fittings, ceiling openings, access and wiring before quoting suitable replacements. If you want dimming, include the dimmer details so the lights and controls can be considered together.

Feature and outdoor lighting

Track lighting, low-level stair lights and outdoor fittings each have different installation requirements. Tell Will what area you want to light, whether wiring is already present, and how you want the lights controlled. Outdoor products need to suit the location and exposure.

Dimmers and smart lighting

If you are considering smart bulbs, new dimmers or a different type of control, send the product details first. Compatibility depends on the existing fittings, wiring and the products being used. Will can assess the electrical work required and explain the practical options.

What to send for a quote

Tell Will how many lights or power points you need, the suburb, and whether you have already chosen the fittings. Photos of the current fittings, switches and switchboard help with an initial assessment. Some jobs need a site visit before final pricing.

Lighting installation costs

Quotes are free. The installation price depends on the number and type of fittings, access, existing wiring, and any new switching or circuits needed. Pricing for the agreed work is explained before installation begins.

Lighting installation questions

Can I supply my own lights?

Yes, provided the fittings are suitable and compliant. Send the brand, model or product link before the appointment so Will can assess the installation requirements.

Can a pendant be moved to a new position?

It may be possible, depending on access and the existing wiring. Send photos of the current and proposed positions. Any patching, plastering or painting is separate unless specifically included in the quote.

Can you help with a small lighting job?

Yes. Single-fitting replacements and smaller repairs are welcome, as well as larger lighting upgrades. Send your suburb and a short description to check availability.
